Kikuyu is a perennial grass which is used extensively throughout the eastern and southern regions of Australia as a turf grass.

It is very hardy and has a bright, lime green leaf colour.

It is the most popular lawn in our region primarily due to cost and its ability to recover from adverse conditions.

Its ability to retain colour depends on the lawn receiving sufficient nutrients and little to no frost.

Kikuyu is more invasive than other varieties and requires proper lawn maintenance.
